We are an award-winning independent production company, based in the heart of London, with clients worldwide - currently the USA, Canada, and the UK. We create high-end documentaries and behind-the-scenes content for globally acclaimed film studios and streamers. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager to join the team on a fixed term contract for 4-6 months from mid June to mid October with a possibility to extend into December.
This opportunity calls for a positive leader who can remain calm under pressure and make confident decisions in fast-paced environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong expertise in traditional production workflows, operate with a proactive mindset and have a genuine love of film.
Role Requirements and Skills:- Lead our amazing Production raising any resource concerns, offer practical solutions, and guide the team forward in a positive manner.
- Oversee all production management requirements, including booking and managing high-level crew and equipment, creating key production documents, and circulating to the necessary stakeholders.
- Highly experienced in creating and managing multiple budgets for short form marketing content, cost trackers, and projects across different countries including USA.
- Knowledge of working with crew unions and payroll specifically in the USA. Negotiate with vendors, freelancers and contractors for the best rates and quality.
- Managing accounting with company accountant: reconciling invoices, payroll, and exchange rates.
- Thrives working in a fast-paced production environment and can work flexibly to fast-changing turnarounds and priorities.
- Confidently liaise with global clients on production requirements, budgets, and scheduling.
- Handling data management; planning, managing and transporting high-value rushes according to project specific requirements, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Identify and mitigate production risks, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards.
- Support company with general operational requirements including security audits across production(s).
- Will work closely with the Head of Post-Production and company Producers to streamline the connection between production and post.
We work with international clients and produce shoots across many different time zones. Therefore, our team functions best when team members are available and willing to respond to time-sensitive client requests during non-regular working hours. This role is based in the London office, 5 days a week. 4 days minimum on-site a week.
