Location – Bath / Bristol / Wiltshire

Salary – Flexible DOE – £40,000 / £90,000

We’re on the lookout for Propulsion Engineers (roles open at all levels) with the drive to innovate and the skills to make a real impact. You’ll be part of a fast-growing, multidisciplinary team redefining what’s possible in aerospace and autonomous flight.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, analyse, and optimise propulsion systems for UAS platforms.
  • Evaluate and integrate motors, propellers, powertrains, and energy storage systems.
  • Perform modelling, thermal analysis, and system-level studies to boost performance.
  • Develop and execute test plans from bench testing to full validation.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Contribute to propulsion architectures that enhance endurance and payload capability.

What you’ll bring:

  • A degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong grasp of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, motor design, and power systems.
  • Hands-on experience with propulsion integration (motors, controllers, or batteries).
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, Simulink, or ANSYS.
  • A collaborative, practical mindset with a passion for solving real engineering challenges.
