We’re working with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing technology business developing highly complex systems combining robotics and engineering. They are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator to support and help scale their procurement function, with a strong focus on purchasing, supplier management, and materials coordination. This is a great opportunity to join a business in growth mode and play a key role in building out procurement processes as the company scales internationally.
What you’ll be doing:
- Raise and manage purchase orders through ERP/MRP systems
- Coordinate with suppliers across the UK and Europe, ensuring pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules are accurate
- Track and expedite orders, proactively managing delivery risks and delays
- Support RFQs, cost comparisons, and supplier selection for lower-risk items
- Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data
- Take ownership of goods-in processes, including booking in deliveries and resolving discrepancies
- Support stores and stock control, including Kanban-based processes
- Work closely with engineering, production, and finance teams to ensure smooth material flow
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a procurement / purchasing / supply chain role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Comfortable working with ERP/MRP systems and purchase order processes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident liaising with suppliers and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- Exposure to technical or engineering environments (e.g. working with drawings, BOMs)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Experience with goods-in, stores, or stock control
- CIPS qualification (or working towards)
