We’re working with a fast-growing advanced manufacturing business developing complex, next-generation technology systems. As they continue to scale, they are looking to bring in a Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality and compliance across the organisation.
This is a broad, high-impact role focused on ISO 9001 compliance, customer quality, and supplier quality, with real scope to shape how quality is managed as the business grows.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and manage quality & compliance processes across the business
- Ensure alignment with ISO 9001 standards and broader regulatory requirements
- Manage customer quality, ensuring products meet industry-specific standards (e.g. aerospace, automotive, defence)
- Oversee supplier quality, including assessments, audits, and compliance checks
- Track and manage non-conformances, complaints, and corrective actions
- Support inspection processes and quality reporting
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to ensure compliance is embedded in product development
- Maintain and update quality documentation and compliance packs
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance role within engineering or manufacturing
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and quality management systems
- Experience working with customer-driven quality standards (e.g. aerospace, automotive, defence)
- Exposure to supplier quality, audits, or compliance processes
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proactive, pragmatic mindset able to balance structure with adaptability
Nice to have:
- Experience with aerospace or automotive quality standards
- Audit training or experience managing internal/external audits
- Exposure to scaling or start-up environments
- Understanding of technical documentation or compliance packs
