Graduate Electrical / Electronics Engineers - Autonomous Aircraft

Bristol

Hybrid (3 days per week on site)

We are working exclusively with a leading international autonomous systems company that is making a major investment in its UK engineering capability, centred around its Bristol HQ.

As part of its expansion, we’re now helping to build a new Electronics/Electrical Design Engineering team in Bristol, with multiple Graduate Engineer opportunities available.

The team is developing next-generation autonomous aircraft and mission-critical technology, bringing together hardware, software, systems, electronics and advanced engineering to solve complex real-world challenges.

It’s a particularly exciting time to join. The UK operation is growing rapidly and has the feel of a technology scale-up – fast-moving, highly R&D-focused and pushing to develop, test and deploy new capability significantly faster than you might typically see within traditional aerospace and defence environments.

For the electronics team specifically, these will be highly proactive engineering roles with plenty of opportunity to influence designs, solve problems and help bring brand-new products to market.

Depending on your level and experience, the work could include:

  • Developing and delivering electronic hardware designs, with a focus on PCB design and systems integration
  • Translating wiring and harness requirements into schematics and electronic solutions
  • Driving design improvements and optimisations across new and existing products
  • Working within cross-functional engineering teams to solve complex integration challenges
  • Supporting products through development, testing and ultimately deployment

Across all roles:

  • Bristol hybrid, minimum 3 days/week on-site
  • Annual bonus
  • Pension matched up to 10%
  • Private medical insurance
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Eligibility for UK SC clearance is essential given the nature of the work
