Electrical Design Engineer – IPC, DNO, IDNO, HV
Salary – Β£50,000 – 60,000 + 10% Bonus
Location – Bristol/Hybrid
We\’re partnering with a dynamic HV Green Energy Solutions provider, who are growing their Bristol team after several major projects dedicated to supporting the energy transition to Net Zero. οΈ Their mission is to re-electrify and enhance grid stability across the UK.
The team are collaborating with Manufacturers, DNO\’s, IDNO\’s, ICP\’s, Power Plant Operators, and Investors on groundbreaking projects spanning Wind, Energy Storage, Solar, Biogas, and EV.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for 11kV and 33kV networks, including single line diagrams, layout drawings, and schematics.
- Utilise AutoCAD to create, modify, and update electrical drawings and plans.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project requirements.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, equipment schedules, and material lists.
Key Skills
- Ideally experience working with an Independent Connection Provider (ICP).
- Electrical design of Medium Voltage and High Voltage systems.
- AutoCAD Software.
- Knowledge of the Grid Connection process and procedures
