We’re supporting a fast-growing defence technology organisation working at the cutting edge of uncrewed and autonomous systems. They are looking for a Commercial Specialist to support strategic programmes, helping to turn innovative ideas into commercially viable solutions. This is a great opportunity to work across procurement, pricing, and contract management within a highly regulated environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead sourcing activities, including market analysis, supplier selection, and tender processes (RFQs / ITTs)
- Support pricing models and cost build-ups
- Manage commercial risk and change control
- Work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and legal teams
- Support delivery of projects within a regulated defence environment
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in defence, aerospace, public sector, or another regulated industry
- Understanding of Procurement Act 2023, SSCR, DEFCONs, and DEFSTANs
- Knowledge of contract types (Firm Price, Cost Plus, Framework Agreements)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Nice to have:
- MCIPS (or working towards)
- Experience with NEC or infrastructure contracts
- Active SC Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
