Are you a Product Owner who understands telecoms networks and knows how to turn complex engineering challenges into clear, deliverable software requirements? We’re supporting the delivery of a major Digital Twin platform that will transform how telecoms network design decisions are made across fibre, transmission, capacity planning and customer circuit design. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of telecoms engineering, software development, data and AI, helping modernise critical network processes that have traditionally relied on manual workflows and legacy systems.

You’ll work directly with network engineering subject matter experts to uncover use cases, understand design processes and define requirements that can be translated into actionable backlogs for software, data and UX teams. This role requires someone who can confidently engage with technical stakeholders, challenge assumptions and bring clarity to complex environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning and prioritising the product backlog for a large scale telecoms transformation programme
  • Leading workshops and discovery sessions with network engineering teams
  • Converting business and technical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and deliverable features
  • Working closely with architects, software engineers, data teams and AI specialists

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Technical Project Manager, Business Analyst or similar delivery focused role
  • Strong telecoms domain knowledge, particularly within core networks or fibre networks
  • Experience working with network engineering, OSS/BSS, inventory, planning or design systems
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to extract requirements from complex technical teams

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with operators such as Virgin Media O2, BT, Vodafone, EE or Three
  • Knowledge of transmission networks, optical networking, fibre infrastructure or network inventory platforms
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, GCP, AI, LLMs or data driven platforms

Why This Role?

This is not a typical Product Owner position. You’ll be joining a strategic transformation programme that is reshaping how network design and planning decisions are made. You’ll have the opportunity to influence product direction, work alongside experienced architects and engineering teams, and help deliver technology that will have a measurable impact on operational efficiency across a major telecoms environment.

If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with highly technical stakeholders and delivering products that make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
