This will be working within a fast-growing advanced manufacturing technology business developing highly sophisticated robotic and automation systems for customers across aerospace, defence, automotive, and other engineering sectors.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Product Development Engineer to help develop, test, validate, and improve complex mechatronic products while also driving improvements across the wider product development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop new mechatronic products from concept through to production
  • Lead testing, validation, reliability, and performance assessments
  • Investigate technical issues and drive continuous product improvement
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, firmware, and production teams
  • Help mature engineering processes and product development standards as the business scales
What we're looking for:
  • Strong experience developing complex mechatronic products
  • Background in new product development, testing, and validation
  • Experience applying FMEA, DFM, DFA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement techniques
  • Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software-integrated systems
