As the company continues to scale, they are looking to hire a Junior Firmware Engineer to join their Bristol-based engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2+ years of commercial experience in embedded software or firmware development who wants to work on real-world robotics and automation systems within a highly innovative R&D environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development of firmware and control software for advanced automation systems
  • Assist with calibration, control, testing, debugging, and validation activities
  • Develop clean, well-structured code in C/C++
  • Work closely with software, electronics, and hardware engineering teams
  • Contribute to technical documentation and product development activities

What we’re looking for

  • Commercial experience with C or C++ programming
  • Exposure to embedded systems, firmware, electronics, or real-time systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
