We’re supporting a specialist engineering and technology consultancy delivering mission critical programmes across the UK defence sector, and they’re looking to appoint a Head of Systems and Supportability Engineering to lead and grow a high performing engineering function. This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone with a strong Systems Engineering background who can shape strategy, build capability, lead multi disciplined teams, and support some of the UK’s most complex defence and government programmes. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across engineering, delivery, and business development functions to drive both technical excellence and business growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading and growing a Systems Engineering team
- Defining department strategy and aligning capability with customer demand
- Delivering expertise across Requirements Engineering, MBSE, Engineering Governance, and Integrated Logistics Support
- Supporting bids, customer engagements, and technical proposals
