We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. Duties
- Drive the implementation of the nursery curriculum, ensuring activities are engaging and age-appropriate
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Lead and supervise daily activities, including playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Support children\'s social, emotional, and cognitive development through planned activities
- Assist with personal care routines, such as feeding, changing diapers, and toilet training
- Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- Maintain accurate records of children\'s progress and development
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- A recognized qualification in childcare or early years education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Passion for working with children and promoting their well‑being
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize workload
