We’re hiring a Youth Trend Strategist at Future Snoops.
Live and breathe youth culture? We’re looking for someone with at least three years of relevant experience who can translate cultural shifts into a compelling fashion direction across young menswear and young womenswear.
You’ll create thematic reports covering mood, colour, key items and styling, with a culture first approach that looks beyond the runway.
Future Snoops is a remote-first company: we have offices in London and New York that you’re welcome to use whenever you like, but there’s no requirement to come in or to live in either city.

Future Snoops is a remote-first company: we have offices in London and New York that you’re welcome to use whenever you like, but there’s no requirement to come in or to live in either city.
About The Role
Future Snoops is looking for a culturally engaged Youth Trend Strategist to join our Fashion team in a full time position.
You’ll develop thematic fashion reports across young menswear and young womenswear, translating emerging cultural signals into inspiring mood, colour, key item and styling direction.
This is a culture first role. We’re looking for someone who understands the communities, behaviours and creative movements shaping how young people dress and express themselves. Your starting point should be what is happening in youth culture, rather than simply summarising runway trends.
You’ll bring a strong visual eye, original editorial thinking and the ability to turn cultural research into commercially useful fashion recommendations.
This role is remote (with access to our NYC and London offices) and will report to the VP, Fashion.
Key Responsibilities
- Research youth culture, pop culture, music, nightlife, sport, gaming, online communities, personal style and emerging creative scenes.
- Identify meaningful signals, explain why they matter and assess how they could influence youth fashion.
- Develop original themes with clear cultural drivers and a cohesive visual narrative.
- Create inspiring moodboards and colour direction that support each theme.
- Translate research into key items, silhouettes, materials, prints, details and styling across young menswear and young womenswear.
- Contribute to Forecast, Fast Track, Style Files, Hot Now and capsules, as well as relevant youth focused runway analysis.
- Use relevant data and consumer evidence to strengthen reports without losing the cultural perspective.
- Write concise, engaging copy that connects cultural developments with actionable product recommendations.
- Source and credit imagery, references and supporting evidence accurately.
- Collaborate with the Youth and wider Fashion teams to develop ideas, respond to feedback and deliver consistent, client ready content.
Experience and Skills
- At least three years of relevant experience in fashion trend forecasting, youth fashion design or a closely related role.
- Demonstrable experience creating trend led fashion content, not solely general consumer commentary.
- A strong understanding of youth culture and pop culture, with genuine curiosity about emerging communities and creative movements.
- A portfolio showing thematic research, moodboards, colour direction and key item development.
- Strong product and styling knowledge across young menswear and young womenswear.
- A discerning visual eye and the ability to edit research into a clear, distinctive point of view.
- The ability to distinguish an emerging cultural signal from a passing social media moment.
- Clear writing and an understanding of how to make cultural research useful to fashion clients.
- A collaborative approach, openness to feedback and the ability to work independently to agreed deadlines.
What We Offer
- Motivating and creative work atmosphere
- Great learning and creative development opportunities
- High degree of responsibility, creativity, originality, independence and creative leeway
- Flexible remote work set-up with Summer Fridays
