Respected industrial water treatment company with a presence across the UK are now looking for a confident and experienced Water Treatment Service Engineer to cover contracts across the Central Belt of Scotland. The ideal candidate will hold extensive experience working within the water treatment industry carrying out the installation and servicing of water treatment equipment including water softeners and RO units, fault finding and installing chemical dosing equipment.

Candidates will live in a commutable distance of one of the following locations: Glasgow, Cumbernauld, Coatbridge, Wishaw, East Kilbride, Lanark, Paisley, Clydebank, Falkirk, Linlithgow, Bathgate, Livingston, Edinburgh.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Good working knowledge of the water treatment industry and water treatment equipment.
  • Hands-on experience servicing and installing water treatment equipment.
  • Electrical qualification e.g. 18th electrical.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office.

The Role:

  • Carrying out installation and servicing of water softeners, chlorine dioxide units and reverse osmosis.
  • Finding faults on site and dealing with them appropriately.
  • Installing chemical and dosing equipment.
  • Traveling to client sites.
  • Training staff in line with company needs.
  • Maintaining a strong working relationship with clients.
