Our client is a well-established water treatment/hygiene company now has a vacancy for an experienced and competent Water Treatment Pre‑commissioning Engineer based in or around the Glasgow area. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a pre‑commissioning role and be confident in carrying out the flushing of water systems to BSRIA guidelines. Consideration will be given to applications from the Central Belt area.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have extensive experience in carrying out Pre‑Commissioning work within the water treatment industry.
- Have hands on experience flushing water systems to BSRIA guidelines.
- Will come from a strong chemical and water treatment background.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office package.
Role
- Carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
- Balance flushing of Heated/Chilled Systems.
- Flushing, sampling and dosing of Closed Systems.
- Water / Legionella Sampling.
- Dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
- Chemical and tank cleans.
- Chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
- Schematic drawings and producing accurate reports.
