We are recruiting on behalf of a respected Asbestos consultancy, who hold UKAS accreditation and a busy client portfolio. They are seeking an experienced and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor, who is able to hit the ground running and with a proven track record within the industry. As a minimum, applicants must hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent. Our client has recently won new domestic and local authority contracts in the Midlands, therefore they are ideally looking for someone within a reasonable distance to client sites. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle and overtime opportunities.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Working knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Fully signed off for all asbestos surveys
- Good literacy and numeracy skill level
- Comfortable using IT software
The Role:
- Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across domestic and local authority premises
- Collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
- Producing detailed technical survey reports and accompanying schematic drawings
- Meeting with clients to advise on findings and make recommendations
- Delivering samples to the laboratory
- Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Representing the company in a professional manner
