A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is seeking a qualified Asbestos Surveyor to join their office in the South East of England. Applicants must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent, and will be well versed in HSG 264 guidelines.

Our client is independently owned, has a professional reputation, in addition to a growing client base (including commercial and domestic contracts). Applicants must be located within a reasonable commute to the M25, for easier access to client sites. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
  • Qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
  • Good understanding of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
  • Signed off for all asbestos survey types
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Strong communicator

The Role:

  • Carrying out thorough asbestos management, demolition and refurbishment surveys
  • Safely collecting ACM samples from site
  • Collating findings to create site-specific technical reports
  • Producing bespoke technical drawings / schematics
  • Providing regular updates and technical advice to clients
  • Ensuring to work to agreed deadlines
  • Adhering to safety legislation whilst on site
  • Delivering samples to the laboratory
