A UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover contracts around the South West of England. You will be working across domestic and local authority premises, conducting the full range of asbestos surveys. In addition, they are offering competitive salaries and benefits packages (including pension scheme, annual leave, overtime and vehicle).
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Well-versed in HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Flexible to changing client needs
- Good communication skills
The Role:
- Attending client sites to conduct management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Safely obtaining asbestos samples
- Delivering samples to the lab for analysis
- Producing site-specific technical reports and accompanying schematic drawings
- Working to agreed personal targets
- Re-inspection surveys
- Providing regular updates to clients
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
