We are recruiting on behalf of an independent Asbestos consultancy, with a strong presence across the Home Counties. They are recruiting for a knowledgeable and self-sufficient Asbestos Surveyor to service new and existing domestic and local authority contracts. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and will be able to work independently on site, ensuring to deliver a high standard of service to all clients.

You will be travelling across: Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Bedford, Leighton Buzzard, Luton, Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Royson, Hitchin, Stevenage, Bishop's Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Harlow, Epping, Cambridge, Biggleswade, St Neots, Sandy, Huntingdon, St Ives, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Watford, Bicester, Oxford, Buckingham, Towcester, Northampton, Rushden.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Fully conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
- Strong communication skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Conducting asbestos surveys across predominantly domestic and local authority premises
- Safely sampling for ACMs
- Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
- Creating schematic drawings and editing existing plans
- Providing detailed technical advice to clients and answering queries
- Working to agreed deadlines
- Maintaining your own personal technical knowledge
- Representing the company in a professional manner
