We are recruiting on behalf of an independent Asbestos consultancy, with a strong presence across the Home Counties. They are recruiting for a knowledgeable and self-sufficient Asbestos Surveyor to service new and existing domestic and local authority contracts. Our client is offering competitive salaries, in addition to comprehensive benefits packages, including: vehicle, fuel expenses, training, pension scheme and annual leave allowance.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
  • Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
  • Fully conversant in HSG 264 guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Hardworking attitude

The Role:

  • Conducting asbestos surveys across predominantly domestic and local authority premises
  • Safely sampling for ACMs
  • Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
  • Creating schematic drawings and editing existing plans
  • Providing detailed technical advice to clients and answering queries
  • Working to agreed deadlines
  • Maintaining your own personal technical knowledge
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
