We are recruiting for a Remedial Plumber to cover a range of domestic and commercial sites in the Home Counties and South Eastern region. You will be joining a busy building services company, who have a busy presence across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background of completing domestic and commercial plumbing duties, including 1st and 2nd fixes and installations. Our client is able to offer great further training into Legionella / Water Hygiene, and is paying competitive salaries and benefits packages.
Our client can consider candidates from the following locations: Watford, St Albans, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Beaconsfield, Harrow, Wembley, High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Stoke Mandeville, Bicester, Tring, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Oxford, Didcot, Slough, Maidenhead, Reading, Bracknell, Hounslow, Twickenham, Hitchin, Bedford, Welwyn Garden City, Harpenden, Wantage.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience working as a Remedial Plumber on both domestic and commercial sites
- Will be qualified with the NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 in Plumbing
- It is essential to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
- Ideally will hold knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Hardworking attitude
- Good literacy and numeracy skill level
- Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
- Completing reactive and PPM remedial plumbing duties across a varied portfolio of client sites, including commercial and domestic
- 1st and 2nd fixes on existing systems
- Cylinder installations and replacements
- Remedial works on existing plumbing systems
- Installations of tanks of varying sizes
- Adjustments of insitu pipework
- Deadleg removals
- Making recommendations for repairs
- Completing service reports
- Working to set deadlines
