Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k – £38k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer who can confidently undertake risk assessments and ACOP L8 management duties across a mixed portfolio of client sites. You will be joining a growing and well-respected company who specialise in Water Hygiene and Legionella services. They are a privately owned outfit who can offer great further training and development opportunites. Candidates will ideally be flexible to travel as required by their contracts. Salaries and benefits are competitive.

Our client would prefer candidates to be located close to: Coventry, Rugby, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Daventry, Nuneaton, Leicester, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton, Redditch, Droitwich Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, Halesowen, Wolverhampton, Cannock, Lichfield, Stafford, Rugeley, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Loughborough, Nottingham, Beeston.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Must have experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
– Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
– Excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Able to produce thorough written reports
– Professional manner

The Role:
– Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold systems
– Writing site-specific risk assessment reports, to outline risks and recommended actions
– Water sampling
– Temperature monitoring
– CWST cleans and disinfections
– Showerhead descales
– TMV servicing
– Travelling in accordance with company requirements
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
