We are seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer who can confidently undertake risk assessments and ACOP L8 management duties across a mixed portfolio of client sites. You will be joining a growing and well-respected company who specialise in Water Hygiene and Legionella services. They are a privately owned outfit who can offer great further training and development opportunities. Candidates will ideally be flexible to travel as required by their contracts. Salaries and benefits are competitive.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor / Water Hygiene Engineer
- Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Excellent working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to produce thorough written reports
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot and cold systems
- Writing site-specific risk assessment reports, to outline risks and recommended actions
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- CWST cleans and disinfections
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing
- Travelling in accordance with company requirements
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
