A long‑standing Water Treatment company who specialise in technical Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / Legionella services. They are now seeking to employ a hard working and self‑motivated Lead Legionella Consultant to cover contracts West of London and across Home Counties region.

Candidate will provide a range of Water / Legionella consultancy services to clients and will be undertaking technical Risk Assessments across complex process water systems, alongside a range of monitoring and treatment duties to closed systems, cooling towers and closed systems. Previous experience within a supervisor or team leader role is essential for the role.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds or WMSoc qualification in Legionella Risk Assessing. (Essential)
  • Industry recognised Risk Assessing qualification for cooling towers. (Desirable)
  • Previous / current experience working within a team leader / supervisor role.
  • Must have hands on experience working within the Water Treatment / Legionella industry, working as either a Legionella Risk Assessor or Legionella Consultant.
  • Well versed in relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
  • Will ideally hold a proven track record of providing consultancy advice to clients.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Must have proficient IT skills.

The Role:

  • Undertaking in depth technical risk assessments to Hot and Cold Water systems, as well as complex process systems.
  • Liaising with clients, providing recommendations for remedial works.
  • Providing clients with schematic drawings and final documents/reports for clients.
  • Managing a team of Legionella Risk Assessors and attending sites in line with client and project needs.
  • Providing ongoing legionella training to site staff.
  • Carrying out monitoring, inspections and treatment on Steam boilers, Cooling towers and Closed loop systems.
  • Attending meetings with clients to discuss findings and further works required.
  • Maintaining and developing professional working relationships with all clients and colleagues.
