Our client is recruiting in the Midlands for an experienced and hardworking Legionella Plumber. They are seeking someone who holds experience working across a diverse portfolio of premises, including: commercial, local authority and domestic. You must be well-versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines, and will be comfortable completing servicing and installation works. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Legionella Plumber
  • Must hold the NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
  • It would be advantageous to hold the NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and / or the G3 Unvented ticket
  • Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • IT proficient
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:

  • Undertaking pre-planned and reactive remedial plumbing works in line with ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • Interpreting legionella risk assessments to identify required remedial roles
  • Deadleg removals
  • TMV replacements and installations
  • Tank refurbishments and replacements
  • Installing POU heaters
  • Servicing unvented cylinders
  • Valve replacements
  • Switching flexi-hoses
  • Pipework re-routing and removals
  • Producing detailed technical reports
