We are seeking a multi-skilled Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to cover sites across Yorkshire and areas of the North of England. You will be conducting reactive and pre-planned compliance duties, interpreting legionella risk assessments to determine any required remedial works. For easier travel, it would be beneficial to have good access to the M1 and/or M62. Our client is a growing name within the Water Hygiene/Legionella industry, who have a mixed portfolio of clients, including commercial, domestic and public sector. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime, pension scheme and annual leave.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer
- Will hold the NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Plumbing in addition to the G3 Unvented ticket
- It would be advantageous to hold the NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing
- Ideally will hold: Confined Spaces and Legionella Awareness training
- Strong working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Flexible to travel in line with company needs
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Undertaking a wide range of reactive and PPM compliance duties
- Deadleg removals
- Flexihose removals
- CWST cleans and disinfections
- Tank refurbishments, replacements and installations
- Pipework adjustments and replacements
- Showerhead descales
- Liaising with legionella risk assessors to identify required remedial works
- Completing regular service reports
- Ordering parts and materials as required
