Due to recent company expansion, an independent Asbestos Consultancy is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Asbestos Surveyor to join their outfit. You will be working across a mixed portfolio of client sites, carrying out asbestos surveys in line with UKAS guidelines. It would be advantageous to have close access to the M62 for more convenient travel across the region. Our client provides a range of environmental compliance services and is able to offer cross-training and further development in these areas. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Will have obtained the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
- Robust technical knowledge, including UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
- Able to effectively articulate technical matters to clients
- Must have experience working across a range of client sites
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Attending a range of commercial, industrial and domestic premises, conducting management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
- Carrying out re-inspection surveys
- Obtaining and logging ACM samples from site
- Producing site-specific survey reports, with accompanying floorplans
- Being a key point of contact for clients, providing technical advice and support
- Working to set personal targets
- Wearing correct PPE at all times
- Travelling in line with company requirements
