Due to continued growth, a respected name within the Critical Air / Clean Air industry is recruiting for a knowledgeable Validation Engineer to join their team. You will be predominantly covering Midlands contracts, across healthcare and pharmaceutical premises. We are looking for someone with robust industry knowledge, who is confident in articulating technical matters directly to clients, and will be confident in operating independently on site. Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Critical Air Validation Engineer
- Will hold the BOHS P601 as a minimum
- Good technical knowledge, including: HTM 0301 guidelines
- It would be advantageous to hold the CP (Competent Person) and / or AP (Authorised Person)
- Able to travel as per company needs
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Validations and verifications of critical ventilation systems within operating theatres and clean room environments
- Testing of microbiological safety cabinets and fume cupboards
- Conducting microbiological sampling
- Pressure cascades and particle counting
- DOP and HEPA filter testing
- Fault finding on existing systems
- Completing regular technical service reports
- Acting as a key point of call for clients, answering technical queries and providing project updates
- Ordering materials and parts as needed
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
