We are recruiting for a switched-on Legionella Risk Assessor in the Midlands region. Candidates must have a good foundation of industry knowledge and experience, and will be able to hit the ground running upon joining the company. Our client is a successful, multi-disciplined outfit, who have a strong Legionella / Water Hygiene department. The successful candidate can expect competitive basic salaries, in addition to benefits, including: company vehicle, overtime opportunities, mobile phone, annual leave and pension scheme.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
- Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Excellent literacy, numeracy and IT skills
- Strong communication skills
- Hardworking attitude
The Role:
- Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems and cooling towers
- Identifying any required remedial duties and any safety concerns
- Providing detailed technical advice to clients
- Producing site-specific reports and accompanying schematic drawings
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
- Developing tailored control schemes / regimes for clients
- Working with colleagues to ensure works are completed within agreed deadlines
- Keeping up-to-date with industry regulations/guidelines
