A well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry is recruiting for a reliable Legionella Remedial Plumber in the Midlands region. The ideal candidate will have robust technical experience of repairing existing systems and installing new components (including: tanks, TMVs and cylinders). It is essential that you are confident in diagnosing faults whilst on site, in order to make appropriate recommendations for prospective works. Experience / Qualifications:
- Track record working as a Plumber within a Legionella / Water Hygiene industry
- It is essential to be qualified with the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum
- It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented ticket
- Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Able to prioritise own workload
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Inspecting existing domestic hot and cold water systems to identify required remedial works
- TMV maintenance and replacements
- Removing deadlegs
- Installing cold water storage tanks and associated pipework
- Fitting POU heaters
- Pipework modifications
- Outlet replacements / fitting
- Installing expansion vessels
- Attending call-outs when needed
- Producing regular service reports
