Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Asbestos Bulk Analyst to join their team in the South East of England. You will be processing incoming samples and analysing to confirm the presence and type of asbestos fibre. Our client is an independent outfit who holds UKAS accreditation, and are known for their friendly atmosphere. Experience / Qualifications:
- Will hold the BOHS P401
- Proven track record working as an Asbestos Bulk Analyst
- Fully conversant with UKAS guidelines
- Able to work in line with set targets
- Strong organisational skills
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Using PLM and stereomicroscopy to conduct analysis of asbestos samples
- Confirming the presence and type of asbestos fibres within samples
- Safely storing asbestos samples
- Issuing analysis result certificates to clients
- Keeping company records updates
- Completing quality checks on completed works
- Organising the maintenance and servicing of lab equipment
- Maintaining personal levels of industry knowledge
