Due to recently growing their presence in the Home Counties / South East of England, our client is looking to add an Asbestos Surveyor to their existing Asbestos department. They are seeking an experienced individual to cover a range of domestic contracts. Applicants must be able to work independently on site, and must have strong technical knowledge. Our client is an independent outfit, with UKAS accreditation who are actively growing their client base. The successful candidate can expect excellent basic salaries and usual benefits (i.e. pension scheme, annual leave and company vehicle).
Locations of work include: Oxford, Bicester, Didcot, Witney, Thatcham, Wantage, Reading, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Bracknell, Crowthorne, Tadley, Woking, Weybridge, Watford, Southall, Harrow, Wembley, Twickenham, Aylesbury, Chesham, Tring, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes, Harpenden, Luton.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Successful track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
- Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- Good interpersonal skills
- Robust industry knowledge, including: HSG and UKAS guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
- Travelling to domestic client sites to conduct the full range of asbestos surveys, including: management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspections
- Producing comprehensive survey reports and floor-plans/drawings
- Safely collecting ACM samples from site
- Meeting with clients to provide updates and technical support
- Maintaining the company's strong reputation
- Travelling in line with the company's requirements
- Adhering to safety guidelines
- Supporting company growth and promoting company services
