Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor
Location: Grays, Essex
Salary/Benefits: Β£25k β Β£42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a growing, UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy, who has grown in size in recent years. They are looking for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor who can hit the ground running, therefore, strong hands-on experience and technical knowledge is essential. The company are able to offer great further training and can support surveyors in gaining further P Certifications and industry modules. Salaries on offer are excellent and company benefits include: overtime opportunities, pension scheme and company vehicle.
You will be travelling across: Grays, Tilbury, Basildon, Billericay, Wickford, South Benfleet, Canvey Island, Romford, Hornchurch, Barking, Ilford, Epping, Enfield, Erith, Grays, Tilbury, Dartford, Gravesend, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Sevenoaks, Mitcham, Croydon, Sutton, Epsom, Caterham, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth.
Experience / Qualifications:
β Must hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
β Proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor
β Strong knowledge of HSG 264 and UKAS guidelines
β Good client-facing experience and able to articulate technical matters
β IT literate
β Good literacy and numeracy skills
The Role:
β Undertaking the full range of asbestos surveys, including: management, refurbishment and demolition
β Conducting re-inspection surveys
β Collecting samples from site and transporting safely for analysis
β Producing thorough survey reports and schematic drawings
β Meeting with clients to discuss report findings and answer any technical queries
β Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
β Ensuring to work in line with HSE guidelines
β Travelling as required by the company
β Supporting the training of new members of staff
