We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor, with a proven track record within the industry, who will be able to hit the ground running. Our client is a prestigious and respected name within the industry, who specialise in servicing commercial and industrial client contracts. This is a great role for those who would like to focus on complex and exciting client projects. We can consider candidates with either singular surveying experience or dual (surveying / analytical) experience. For the successful candidate, our client is offering attractive basic salaries and benefits, in addition to comprehensive training opportunities.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
- For analysts, you will also hold the BOHS P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
- Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
- Fully conversant in HSG and UKAS guidelines
- Must have experience working on commercial contracts
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Attending client sites to conduct management, demolition and refurbishment demolition surveys
- Re-inspection surveys
- Collecting ACM samples from site
- Producing detailed technical reports and schematic drawings
- Being a key point of contact for clients, answering technical queries and providing advice
- Working to agreed deadlines
- Adhering to safety legislation
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
