Due to recent company expansion, our client is seeking a switched-on Water Treatment Service Chemist, with strong technical knowledge and a professional manner. You will be servicing a range of commercial and public sector client sites, inspecting and servicing existing water treatment systems. Our client is a privately-owned company who specialise in Water Treatment / Legionella services, and can offer great further training routes for hardworking candidates. Salaries range depending on experience, but remain competitive within the market. In addition, they are offering comprehensive benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Will have experience working as a Water Treatment Service Chemist
– Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
– Ideally will hold industry-related qualifications, such as: Cooling Towers or Closed Systems qualifications
– Will be flexible to travel in line with client requirements
– Strong communication skills
– Proficient in using IT software
– Good literacy and numeracy skill level

The Role:
– Completing the inspecting and testing of cooling towers and steam boilers
– Closed system sampling and analysis
– Testing of chlorine dioxide dosing systems
– Ad-hoc cleans and disinfections on tanks
– Chemical dosing
– Upselling of further services to clients
– Producing bespoke technical reports
– Travelling across commercial, industrial and public sector sites
– Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
– Being a key point of contact for clients
