An industry-leading Water Treatment company is seeking a driven Water Treatment Engineer to cover new client contracts in the South East of England. They are open-minded when considering candidates' experience, as they can offer extensive training, including into specialist technical water treatment. The ideal candidate will have a keen willingness to learn and perform duties to a high standard, whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with clients. Salaries and packages are attractive, and include excellent overtime opportunities.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer for a well-established outfit
- Good understanding of the ACOP L8 & HSG 274 guidelines
- Experience / knowledge of closed systems and cooling towers is preferred, however this is not essential
- Plumbing / remedial experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Strong client-facing skills and able to discuss technical matters in detail
- Experienced in writing detailed service reports and updating logbooks
- Enthusiastic and motivated
The Role:
- Carrying out a range of ACOP L8 duties across a range of Industrial, Commercial and Prestigious client sites
- Inspections, cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- TMV servicing and maintenance
- Acid descales
- Flushing of little used outlets
- Closed system sampling and analysis
- Calorifier inspections
- Minor remedial duties, including pipework adjustments
- Water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Discussing projects with clients directly, and answering technical queries
