Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer Location: Cheshunt, Hertfordshire Salary/Benefits: £25k – £40k + Training & Benefits A leading name within the Water Treatment industry is looking for a hardworking Engineer to undertake a range of ACOP L8 compliance duties. Applicants must have varied experience across domestic hot & cold and process water systems, and will be required to adapt to client requirements. The role will involve meeting clients on site to discuss technical matters and provide updates on projects. You will be joining a privately owned company, who have an excellent reputation, who can also offer competitive salaries and benefits. We can consider candidates from the following locations: Cheshunt, Epping, Enfield, Harlow, Potters Bar, Welwyn Garden City, Bishop\’s Stortford, Romford, Dagenham, Grays, Ilford, Barking, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Beaconsfield, Hayes, Southall, Slough, Erith, Dartford, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Bromley, Croydon, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Sutton, Epsom. Experience / Qualifications: – Strong work experience working as a Water Treatment Service Engineer – Working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 compliance standards – Able to work on process systems, such as: Cooling Towers, Closed Systems and Steam Boilers – Good client-facing skills – Proficient in using IT software to complete reports – Professional and hardworking attitude The Role: – Cleans and disinfections on Cooling Towers – Closed system analysis and sampling – Chlorinations – Showerhead descales – Basic outlet flushing – Calorifier inspections – TMV servicing – CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections – Meeting with clients to answer technical queries and provide project updates – Producing regular service reports Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Water Treatment Service Chemist, Environmental Consultant, Water Treatment Consultant.
