We are recruiting for a multi-skilled Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor in the North West of England. The role is within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company, who holds a national presence and busy client portfolio. Applicants must possess good time management skills in order to effectively plan their daily duties. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: vehicle, company phone and overtime opportunities.

Our client can consider candidates who are based in / around: Wigan, Leigh, Warrington, Runcorn, Prescot, St Helens, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Southport, Formby, Preston, Blackburn, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Ellesmere Port, Birkenhead, Liverpool, Stockport, Colne, Burnley, Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax.

Experience / Qualifications:
– Will have experience undertaking ACOP L8 compliance duties as well as Legionella Risk Assessments
– Qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) Legionella Risk Assessing
– Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
– Able to produce thorough reports as well as schematic drawings
– IT literate and good written ability
– Flexible to travel as required

The Role:
– Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold water systems
– Water sampling and temperature monitoring
– Produce bespoke reports as well as schematic drawings
– Cleans & disinfections on CWST
– Showerhead disinfections
– TMV servicing & failsafes
– Calorifier blowdowns
– Contacting clients to arrange access
– Representing the company in a professional manner
