Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor Location: Luton, Bedfordshire Salary/Benefits: £24k – £40k + Training & Benefits We are seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor to join a nationally-established Water Hygiene / Legionella company. Candidates will need a diverse range of hands-on experience in order to complete ACOP L8 duties and Legionella Risk Assessments to a high standard, to ensure site compliance. Successful candidates can expect excellent salaries and packages as well as exciting training opportunities. Our Client can consider candidates from the following locations: Luton, Dunstable, Stevenage, Leighton Buzzard, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Enfield, Ilford, Romford, Brentwood, Watford, Harrow, Wembley, Southall, Slough, Hounslow, Aylesbury, Bicester, Oxford, Didcot, Buckingham, Brackley, Milton Keynes, Towcester, Bedford, Biggleswade, St Neots. Experience / Qualifications: – Must have experience working as both a Water Hygiene Engineer and Legionella Risk Assessor – Will hold a Legionella Risk Assessing qualification (i.e. City & Guilds) – Working in accordance with ACOP L8, HTM 0401 & HSG274 guidelines – Ideally will have experience with Closed Systems and Cooling Towers – Professional manner and hardworking approach The Role: – CWST Cleans & Disinfections – Closed System Sampling and Analysis – Calorifier Cleans & Disinfections – TMV Servicing – Chemical Dosing – Conducting Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems (cooling tower risk assessment experience is desirable but not essential) – Writing detailed risk assessment reports and producing schematic drawings – Travelling to Client sites as per company requirements Alternative job titles: Water Hygiene Engineer, Water Hygiene Risk Assessor, Legionella Engineer, Legionella Operative, Water Hygiene Technician.
