We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known Compliance management provider, who are seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts in Yorkshire. It would be beneficial to have access to the A64 and/or A1M to travel across commercial, local authority, manufacturing and public sector client sites. They are offering attractive salaries and benefits to the successful candidate.
Our client would prefer candidates who are based around: Tadcaster, Wetherby, Boston Spa, York, Selby, Barlby, Pocklington, Easingwold, Malton, Helmsley, Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Thirsk, Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate, Leeds, Garforth, Castleford, Rothwell, Driffield, Beverley, South Cave, Market Weighton, Cottingham, Hull, Goole, Sherburn in Elmet.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Will have worked for a Legionella / Water Hygiene company, as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Excellent understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in the use of software to complete service reports
- Flexible to travel as required

- TMV inspections and servicing
- Showerhead disinfections
- Basic flushing of outlets
- Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
- Chlorinations
- Regular water sampling and temperature monitoring
- Updating site logbooks
- Maintaining a professional manner whilst operating on client sites
