Salary/Benefits: £25k - £34k + Training & Benefits

We are seeking a driven Water Hygiene Engineer to undertake a variation of ACOP L8 compliance duties across a busy portfolio of client sites. You will be joining a well-established name within the Water / Legionella industry, who have a national presence and good reputation for training and supporting the development of their staff. Applicants must have proven experience working within the industry and will need to be able to demonstrate their knowledge confidently. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits for the successful applicant.

Our client can consider candidates who are based in: Cheltenham, Gloucester, Stroud, Cirencester, Evesham, Ledbury, Hereford, Newport, Chepstow, Thornbury, Yate, Swindon, Chippenham, Calne, Devizes, Bath, Trowbridge, Bristol, Portishead, Weston-super-Mare, Ross-on-Wye, Frome, Newport, Pontypridd, Cardiff, Barry, Bridgend.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer for a well-established company
  • Able to undertake: TMV Servicing, Showerhead Descales and Cleans & Disinfections
  • Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
  • It would be beneficial but not essential to hold plumbing experience / qualifications
  • IT literate and good written ability
  • Able to travel as company needs change

The Role:

  • Travelling to a range of local authority, commercial and public sector client sites to maintain L8 compliance across water systems
  • TMV servicing
  • Cleans & disinfections on cold water storage tank
  • Showerhead descale
  • Completing basic flushes on outlets
  • Acid descales
  • Calorifier inspections
  • Updating site logbooks and writing regular reports outlining works undertaken
