Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, with a busy portfolio of client sites across the South East region. They are seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to complete ACOP L8 compliance duties. Ideally, you will have good access to the M25 for easier travel around the area. The employer is known for providing extensive training plans and development opportunities. Salaries are competitive and benefits include overtime opportunities, a company vehicle and pension scheme.

Experience / Qualifications

Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer

Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 compliance guidelines

Beneficial to have completed industry training courses, such as: TMVs and Cleans and Disinfections

Flexible to travel in line with company requirements

Good literacy and numeracy skills

Comfortable using IT software

The Role

Conducting PPM water hygiene management services across a variety of commercial, local authority and public sector client sites

TMV servicing and failsafe checks

Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks

Showerhead descales

Flushing on little used outlets

Mains injections

Completing water sampling and temperature monitoring regimes

Keeping accurate records of works undertaken

Maintaining high levels of customer service
