Location: Walsall, West Midlands
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £37k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a multi-disciplined compliance specialist, who have a busy and growing Ventilation / Air Hygiene department. They are seeking a Duct Hygiene Engineer, who can hit the ground running and comfortably lead on projects. You will be travelling to a range of client sites, conducting thorough inspections and cleans on ductwork and ventilation systems. It would be beneficial to have experience with Fire Damper testing, but this is not essential as our client can offer training into this area. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: company vehicle, overtime and pension scheme.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Duct Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
- Working knowledge of TR19 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to hold industry-related qualifications
- Ideally will have some experience of testing Fire Dampers
- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
- Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
- Attending client sites to thoroughly inspect existing ventilation / ductwork systems, to highlight required works
- Conducting thorough cleans and servicing on ductwork and ventilation systems
- Fire damper testing
- Fitting access panels
- Correctly and safely using chemicals
- Allocating works and managing project bookings
- Recording completed works and taking pre and post work photos
- Working to set deadlines and project scope
- Representing the company in a professional manner
- Training and supporting new engineers
