Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Woking, Surrey Salary/Benefits: £25k – £36k Training & Benefits Our client is a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a busy presence around the South East of England. Due to recently winning new business, they are seeking a professional and driven Water Hygiene Engineer to work across a variety of client sites, including: commercial, public sector and local authority. Applicants must have strong technical experience and knowledge, and will be expected to integrate well into their established team. Experience / Qualifications: * Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer * Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Will have worked across a range of client sites * Hardworking attitude * It would be advantageous to have experience working on process systems (i.e. Cooling Towers and Closed Systems) * Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills The Role: * TMV servicing * Showerhead disinfections * Flushing on little used outlets * Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks * Mains injections * Water sampling * Temperature monitoring * Keeping accurate records of works completed * Reporting any non-conformities * Representing the company in a professional manner Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Operative, Water Hygiene Operative, Environmental Service technician.
