Job Title: Water Treatment Equipment Engineer Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear Salary/Benefits: £30k - £45k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer, to cover nationwide commercial, pharmaceutical and industrial contracts. Ideally candidates will hold an electrical / mechanical background and must be well-versed in industry technical guidelines. You will be joining a respected and industry-leading name within the Water Treatment industry, who have a busy and growing client base. Experience / Qualifications: * Experience working as a Water Treatment Equipment Engineer * Ideally will hold electrical / mechanical training / qualifications * Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Adaptable to client travel needs * Good communication skills * Strong literacy and numeracy skill level The Role: * Attending client sites to conduct installations, servicing and repairs on water treatment equipment, including: ROs, water softeners, UV filtration and demineralisation units * Decommissioning equipment / systems * Diagnosing faults and making recommendations for repairs / replacements * Calibrating equipment * Quoting for works * Creating RAMS * Producing regular technical reports * Working across a range of healthcare, commercial, industrial and manufacturing premises Alternative job titles: Water Service Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Water Installation Engineer, Water Treatment Engineer.
