Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Rochdale, Greater Manchester Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across the North West of England. You will be joining a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Treatment industry, who have recently won new client contracts in the region. Applicants must hold hands-on experience with TMV servicing, cleans / disinfections and chlorinations, and will be confident to work independently on site. Our client is privately-owned and has a strong reputation within the industry. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages, including a company vehicle and overtime earning opportunities. You will be travelling across: Rochdale, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Manchester, Stockport, Wigan, Leigh, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Chorley, St Helens, Warrington, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Runcorn, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Crosby, Prescot, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Formby, Southport, Preston, Blackburn, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Huddersfield. Experience / Qualifications: * Hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer * Good working knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Flexible to travel in line with company needs * Strong verbal and written communication skills * IT literate * Good literacy and numeracy skills The Role: * Conducting a wide range of pre-planned compliance duties * Showerhead disinfections * TMV servicing and maintenance * Outlet flushing * Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks * Calorifier inspections * Water sampling * Temperature monitoring * Producing regular service reports Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Water Management Engineer, Legionella Operative, Environmental Service Technician, Water Service Engineer, Water Hygiene Technician.
