Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor Location: Nottingham, East Midlands Salary/Benefits: £27k - £40k + Training & Benefits Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking a qualified Legionella Risk Assessor to cover a range of commercial and local authority sites. This company holds a national presence and provides the full range of water hygiene, legionella and remedial services to their clients, so there are excellent opportunities for cross-training. Applicants must have experience with domestic hot and cold water systems as a minimum. You will be operating independently on site and will be responsible for producing thorough technical reports and schematic drawings. Salaries and benefits on offer are competitive. Ideally we are seeking someone from the following locations: Nottingham, Derby, Mansfield, Newark-on-Trent, Lincoln, Sleaford, Grantham, Melton Mowbray, Gainsborough, Retford, Worksop, Chesterfield, Sheffield, Doncaster, Mexborough, Dronfield, Matlock, Thorne, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Goole, Barnsley, Pontefract, Selby, Hessle, Hull, Wakefield, Castleford. Experience / Qualifications: * Hands-on experience conducting Legionella Risk Assessments * Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing * Good understanding of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines * Confident using a PDA to complete reports * Good literacy and numeracy skills * Flexible to travel as needed The Role: * Conducting legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold systems * Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring * Compiling findings to produce site-specific technical reports * Creating bespoke schematic drawings * Providing advice to clients on any required remedial works and ongoing compliance * Working to company performance targets * Performing some water hygiene duties when needed, including: showerhead descales, TMV servicing and outlet flushing * Maintaining strong working relationships with clients Alternative job titles: Legionella Consultant, Legionella Risk Assessor, Water Hygiene Consultant, Water Hygiene Risk Assessor, Water Surveyor.
