Our client is seeking a P401 qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst to join their team in the Midlands. Applicants will be commuting to the laboratory on a daily basis, so candidates will need to be able to travel to the area easily. You will be conducting bulk analysis of ACM samples, logging results and supporting the smooth delivery of analysis services. Our client is a privately‑owned outfit, with a good reputation within the industry. The successful applicant can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:

  • Will have experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst within a UKAS accredited company
  • Must hold the BOHS P401 qualification
  • Good industry technical knowledge
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • IT literate
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role:

  • Completing the bulk analysis of ACM samples through PLM and stereo‑microscopy methods
  • Logging and storing samples
  • Updating the company database with analysis results
  • Issuing certificates to clients
  • Ensuring to work to set KPIs
  • Partaking in quality assurance checks
  • Maintaining the functionality and cleanliness of the laboratory
