Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear

Salary/Benefits: £25k - £35k DOE with Training & Benefits

We are currently recruiting for a hard working Water Hygiene Engineer, ideally based in the North East region and able to travel across the Northern region. Applicants will need to be dedicated and experienced, in order to hit the ground running. You will be completing duties, such as:

  • Completing flushing, water sampling & acid descales.

Candidates ideally will have strong interpersonal skills and will be competent in producing regular, detailed service reports. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the Water Hygiene Industry
  • Adept in ACOP L8, H&S and legionella compliance
  • Experienced in working to HSE guidelines
  • Capable of using IT software to complete reports
  • Adaptable to travel to client sites
  • Good work ethic and efficient

The Role:

  • Flushing little use outlets
  • Acid and shower descales
  • TMV servicing and fail-safe testing
  • Water sampling
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Closed system sampling
  • Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
  • Produce service reports regularly
  • Communicating with clients to maintain and build positive relationships
