We are seeking an organised and personable asbestos administrator in the North East region, to join a reputable UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy. They are looking for a dedicated and hardworking asbestos administrator to undertake a range of administrative duties such as:
- answering client queries
- producing certificates
- managing diaries for asbestos site staff
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working to agreed deadlines and will have a strong telephone manner, as you will be liaising with clients and third parties on a daily basis. This company can offer great package benefits for the successful applicant.

Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have experience working as an Administrator within a UKAS accredited company
- Beneficial to hold the BOHS P402, but this is not essential
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT experience, including using Microsoft Office Suite and TRACKER / TEAMS
- Strong organisational skills
- Good telephone manner
The Role:
- Updating the company database with project progress and laboratory results
- Ensuring to work to deadlines
- Managing diaries for a team of site staff, including Asbestos surveyors and analysts
- Processing incoming technical reports
- Answering client enquiries via telephone and email
- Acting as the first port of call for clients and engineers
- Ensuring works are completed within agreed deadlines
- Directing calls / enquiries to the right person
- Producing certificates and sending to clients directly
- Working within a busy Asbestos company, providing administrative support on a daily basis
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients
